The Faculty
Anandhi
Anandhi has been associated with Waldorf Education since 1996. Eternally in love with Waldorf Education, she has been a class teacher for many years. She was the visioning force behind Abhaya, Hyderabad and co-founded the school. Since 2015 she has been training and mentoring schools & teachers. Anandhi’s strength lies in helping teachers grasp Steiner’s ideas directly through class-room experiences and through bringing their own clear thinking into the study. Anandhi will hold the study about human development and cover the key contents of the curriculum as it unfolds in each class.
Rahul Aurangabadkar
A potter and an artist Rahul has had long years of association with Waldorf Education. Presently in Vishwajyot , Mumbai, he trains teachers in the artistic field. Rahul is a natural with recognising the essence of aesthetics in everything he sees. He has studied Steiner’s ideas about form and colour deeply and continues to learn from them. He is a wonderful support to class teachers who are committed to growing in the artistic realm and to teachers who wish to teach clay modelling. As always he will hold blackboard drawing sessions, painting sessions and some clay work sessions wherever relevant.
Rajitha Rao
Savita Dhotre
Savita is one of the most unassuming class teachers, full of warmth in her heart coupled with remarkable insights about child development. Her expertise in mathematics enabled Abhaya to strengthen its pedagogic depth and breadth in Math. She is busy supporting teachers within the school and when time permits she also helps with training outside of school. This year she will go online with our grade six work.
